The New England Patriots are having the best season a team can have by blowing away the capitation. The 2008 AFC Champions are at a very impressive 18-0 but they have had a couple of nail bitters. The first one was to the Last a year champ the colts in week 9. It was said to be the preview of the AFC game. The next one was three weeks later in week 12 When the New England Patriots took on AJ Freely back up Quarter back for the Philadelphia Eagles led them to a close game of 31- 28 Putting out a blue print to the rest of the league showing everyone that the patriots are human and they do make mistakes. Just a week later in week 13. The patriots played the Baltimore Ravens. The Ravens lost by a field goal in a very controversial game full of huge plays. But New England sidled by within a field goal 27-24 victory. They finished out their perfect regularly season by playing their opponents for the super bowl, The New York Giants. The Patriots won 38-35. Then entering the playoffs at the number one seed. And playing the Jacksonville Jaguars beating them 31-20. Next was the San Diego Chargers a long time rival beating them 21-12. The next and finale game the Super Bowl Were they would have to take on the smoke red-hot New York Giants. As we all know the Giants were too much for the patriots. Leaving them at an 18-1 in their run at history. The Only unbeaten team was the 1973 Miami Dolphins when they went 16-0.
