Saw 4
Saw 4: The Best Yet?? By: Molly Vachuska Many students around Johnson have seen the saw movies. The fourth movie came out on October 26, 2007. Although this film is rated R, many students including many under the age of seventeen say they saw this movie. Each of the saw movies involves a key which is hidden in unexpected places and the subject has to get the key and unlock the “trap” before time runs out. Students around Johnson seem to have many different feelings about the movie, but overall it seems to be the best. In the fourth movie two men are chained together. One of them has their eyes sewn shut and the other has their mouth sewn shut. They have to work together to get the key and unlock themselves before the time runs out. I won’t ruin the ending for anyone but it’s a good one. “It’s the best yet, definitely the best of the four,” says senior Claire McDermott. McDermott really liked the movie and would see it again just because it’s a good movie. While senior Jamie Kasal says, “it was a good movie, but there was a lot I didn’t understand. I would probably have to see it four more times to really understand. It was a lot nastier than the other three.” Even the guys out there said it was scary. “It was very scarifying. I liked how it brought all the other saw movies together!” said junior Jason Schmidt. It looks like the thoughts around Johnson are that it’s one of the better movies coming out this season. It would definitely be worth your $8 on a Friday night.
