The Nature of Demand
A demand curve is a graph with a negative slope that lies in the first quadrant.

First students will learn how to:
1.Make a graph using a table of values,
2. Find slope and vertical intercept,
3. Write an equation of a line,
4. Define dependent and independent variables.

Second, students will be able to explain:
1. Why a demand curve has a negative slope,
2. Reasons why the law of demand exisits
3. Why quantity demanded depends on price.
