PAC - Parent Advisory Committee
The Parent Advisory Committee plays a vital role in the Johnson community.  Attending meetings are a great opportunity for parents to learn about Johnson and to meet the staff and other parents. Everybody is welcome to attend.

Meetings are held the 1st Monday of each month in the Media Center. Meeting times are 6:30-8pm. The principal prepares the agenda and invites various staff members to attend. The staff members give reports and updates and answer questions from parents. The principal gives a report on various topics ranging from goals, budget, future trends, new programs, school events, etc. Some meetings consist of guests from the community. There is usually a student council member present also.

Occasionally parents are asked to volunteer their time by helping out with our Senior All Night Party project or an occasional fund raising event such as making and/or selling Rice Krispie bars during conferences.

Another great resource for parents of Saint Paul Public School students is NEAT, an independent, citywide, umbrella organization. NEAT members are parents, parent organizations and community members concerned about public education in Saint Paul. To access go to www.stpaulneat.org

Access to St. Paul Learns
The St. Paul Learns web site was created and is being developed to help bridge the "digital divide" and prepare Saint Paul students and families for the Information Age. This site includes a link to the Parent Portal - a site which provides information to parents about their students.
